There are kinds of power available in IR LED. Today we mainly discuss about the IR LED with 850nm wavelength.


The 850nm LED chip directly affects the power of an LED. The power consumption of an LED is determined by the efficiency of the LED chip.

The efficiency of an LED chip is measured by the amount of electrical energy it converts into light energy.

LED chips with higher efficiency convert a larger proportion of electrical energy into light energy, resulting in a brighter light output for the same power input. This means that LEDs with more efficient chips require less electrical power to produce the same amount of light as LEDs with less efficient chips.
